About Darcey Blue

Devotee of Wildness, Wildcrafter of Botanical Wonders, Herbal Matchmaker & Shamana Flora

Darcey Blue  is an herbalist & nutritionist, wildcrafter, gardener, herbal medicine crafter, singer, banjo picker, shamanic practitioner, Earth lover and wild woman.  She was trained as a Clinical Herbalist & Nutritionist at the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism under Paul Bergner, and additionally studied with Rosemary Gladstar and Charlie Kane.  She was trained as a Shamanic Practitioner at the Institute for Shamanic Arts.   Darcey has been using and learning from the plants, both wild and cultivated since childhood, and it is her deep love of the wild Earth and its creatures that fuels her passion for healing and teaching about plants, wilderness, spirit, nourishment and healing.

She was called to the shamanic path by an old Juniper tree in 2003 and has been talking with plants ever since.  She has led workshops and circles in shamanic journey work with plant medicine and plant spirits since 2008, and has worked with private clients using botanical medicine since 2004.

Her own healing and wholing in life has been catalyzed and manifested by her ever deepening relationship with the wildness in the world, and the wildness within herself- through the plants, the land spirits, and solitary time in wild natural places- sitting with plants, wildcrafting plants, and journeying with spirit and self awareness.

Darcey Blue also works privately with clients who are eager to learn from the plants a healing way as old as time itself, and who are ready to take responsibility for and transform their relationship to self, spirit, nature, health, and body, including Herbal Wellness Consultations, Sacred Earth Plant Medicine Apprenticeship, Plant Spirit Sessions, Personal and Group Healing Nature Retreats.
She teaches regularly at the The Harmony Hut and Institute for the Shamanic Arts in Tucson, AZ, and the Medicine of the People: Folk Herbal Resurgence in Coconino, Arizona.
